Tiege Consult were approached by a client to assist in the implementation of a new and improved business communication and collaboration tool because of the rapid expansion of its operations. Previously the client had been using G-drive but experienced severe challenges including its limited collaboration tools, restriction of multiple-access and poor user experience.

The challenge was to help secure return on their investment through active user engagement. Tiege worked side by side with the client to form a delivery team that helped to implement Microsoft 365 Essentials across the company within 4 months, and successfully transitioned all 800 candidates within the organisation from an ineffective collaboration tool to a much more robust platform.

The results were:

The successful, on-time migration to Office 365 with minimal disruption.

Communicated to 800 candidates on the platform before, during and after their migration and received a 80% response rate.

Trained admin in the adoption and use of Microsoft 365 applications including change, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft teams, Skype for business and Yammer, and provided support for 1-month post project close

Phased out all google drive accounts and introduced OneDrive to the business.

The convenience and ease of use of Microsoft Office 365 Essentials which provided value for money.

Improved efficiency because of easy access from any device.

Security and safety of crucial client data because of storing as a result of Microsoft’s cloud storage.

In summary, the project was a great success which earned Tiege excellent reviews from the client.
