BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The aim of this project was to build a website for Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as well as must also have social media integration and live chat functionalities.

Prior the involvement of Tiege Consult, old students and potential clients did not have any and online presence.  Students could not keep in touch with one another, check on each other’s wellbeing as there was no platform presently being used to communicate.

Using the Agile project methodology Tiege Consults created a transformative website within the 8-week project timeline. It was delivered within budget and to quality expectations. With the new and improved integration of social media platforms added to the website students and clients can now interact, share ideas, and have access to opportunities in the job market. The website now allows members to:

• Easy collaboration among members
• Ability to interact
• Ability to share ideas
• Ability to have access to opportunities in the job market.

The project was a massive success.  Another project where through high level of innovation and development by Tiege Consult, the client was able to improve client engagement, revenue generation and service delivery.

Additional benefits from this project were:

• The website can be used as a platform to mobilise funds that will enable improvement in the department and or faculties of the university of the old students.
• It will be used as a platform for the Alumni to share their experience with current students.
• It will provide an avenue for information dissemination.
• It can also be used to sell school merchandise.
• The website can be used as a database for opening to internships through the link of the Alumni network.
• Alumni will have a common place where they can meet and stay in touch.
